Winter is Here

Winter is here with a vengeance!
A few days ago I saw this at the cemetery:

These shots made me feel very lonely - especially the one with snow on the flowers.

On the way home from the cemetery the frost on the valley presented a view so very
"Ramah Winter."

"The Valley's . . . are white with snow..."

Last Monday on my rounds to Grants, here's what I found at the facility in Milan:

And I couldn't come home by way of Ice Caves, so went all the way back around I-40 to Gallup and then home.
Yesterday coming home from Grants, I made these photos:
The red rocks of El Morro Mesa

El Morro National Monument.

Talmages Big Day

18 November 2011
What a Day!
Uneventful day of travel,
(One small exception: My cell phone died in Spanish Fork Canyon. Was revived by Bob on returning home. Thanks, Bob.)
We didn't get LOST like last trip, not even once!
The occasion was super - here are some photos:

Talmage Whitehead was sealed to Calvin and Whitney Whitehead and Ada was present! What a super day.
An added pleasure for the day was to have Ashlee and Truman there.

Sorry about the quality of this last one.

Was good to see all that we did and visit with Whitney's family.
Our prayers are for Whitney's father and his health.

Winter!

I told DeeDee I would post a photo of Ramah's first high rise as soon as it was constructed. Here goes:

Construction was not easy as the building was different than the one ordered from the web site.

However the building looks great to me.
I don't under stand the principle, but it looks bigger inside than out. Couldn't see how Bob could get both his boat and 5th wheel inside, but look how his BIG boat looks swallowed by the inside + his tractor and unseen is still more stuff!

Spring has sprung fall has fell
Winter's here and colder than
last year. (unknown author)
What a weird year for weather!
Dry spring and summer, Cold and hot at the same time through the fall, now this:
Not only does Bob and Mely have a beautiful home,
but it is in a very beautiful setting!

Only slightly old archive (actually taken this fall)

One of my favorite shots of the "POINT" at the lake.
First time I went anywhere with Carmen was to the hole
in the point where the rainbow ends in this picture.
